Another layer of fiberglass! The front of our boat is going to be the strongest part once we’re done.

Eric’s dad brought our new-to-us oven which we test fitted into its space.

Progress. Is. Slow. But. It. Is. Happening.

Eric has used foam to reconstruct the stringers that run along the bottom of the bridge deck. They’ll look so good once we slap on the last fiberglass and paint.

I continue to struggle with my ever-growing sewing project.

We go home for Thanksgiving! Surprisingly the roads are pretty clear in the morning. I’m so thankful to be able to enjoy this time with our families.

Always do boat projects. Always.

I’ve done it! I’ve finished sewing the dodger, our wind shield for the boat. What started as two small panels in front of the steering wheel has turned into a three-sided behemoth surrounding the cockpit.
We can even make it completely “enclosed” by deploying shower curtains.
And, during the month of November, I managed to write 50,000 words of fiction – maybe someday I’ll publish a fantasy novel. Thanks to NaNoWriMo for their community’s encouragement during this dark month!

Also, Odell’s Sippin Pretty is now my favorite beer.
